Join us to make this super-summery Watermelon Sugar Beach Bag using just three entry-level crochet stitches and two yarns. It’s a perfect pick for a beginner and a lovely, meditative project for a more experienced crocheter to escape into.
The body of our bag uses raffia yarn and a 6mm hook. Raffia is such a lovely yarn for summer, and with such a chunky hook it works up in no time.
The straps use a smaller hook, but just one yarn! Our clever watermelon yarn is self-striping, which means you only need to crochet one stitch and the fruit pattern will emerge on it's own - magic!
