This bright, raffia gingham bag is just calling for a white floaty dress and a warm spring day. Don’t be daunted by the tapestry crochet. You will only be working with two colours at any one time and the stitch is a super simple double crochet. The bag is made flat in three panels, joined together and the straps added.

You will need

  • 5mm crochet hook
  • Wool and the Gang Ra-Ra Raffia Yarn, 100g/250m/273yd, 100% paper in Hot Pink x 1, Bardot Red x 1, Ivory White x 1 
  • Or an alternative raffia yarn or aran weight cotton yarn as a substitute
