The Boxes
I'm a beginner, will I be able to make the projects?
I'm a firm believer in learning as you go, so I say yes! The boxes aren't designed specifically for beginners, but each kit contains a printed pattern, photo step-by-step pictures for the tricky bits PLUS a video explaining any unusual techniques or things you might not have come across before. I've got you!
When will my first box arrive?
All Curate Crochet Boxes are made to order, so when you first pay you are essentially placing a pre-order for next month's box, which is always posted out in the second week of the next month. So if you order between 1-30 May, for example, you will receive the June box shipping out on around 14th June.
That means if you order right at the start of May, you will have a little longer to wait for your first box than someone ordering on the 30th May. But once you are signed up and more than 1 month in, you will receive a box every month!
Am I tied in for several months?
Nope. The subscription is rolling, so payment will automatically be taken each month, but you can cancel anytime or pause or skip a box if you need to.
Will you be selling boxes individually?
Boxes are made to order as part of your subscription, so I won't be making boxes available to buy as one-offs. The only exception to this is 1-month gift purchases if you have been bought a gift subscription or are buying one for someone else, there is a 1-month option.
Can I gift someone a subscription?
You can! Gift subscriptions are available HERE. You can buy 1, 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions, and we'll deliver a beautifully packaged crochet kit to your recipient each month until the gift period ends.
Why have I been charged twice before getting my first box?
When you sign up to Curate Crochet Box, your first payment will be taken on the day you first sign up. So if you sign up early on in a month, let's say 1 May, you are paying for June's box.
Your next payment will then be taken on the same day every month that you signed up on, so your second payment will be taken on 1 June for July's box. But don't worry, your first box will be on it's way or arriving very soon!
Shipping
What will the postage be for other countries?
All overseas orders will be posted with International Tracked shipping, 3-17 business days, via Royal Mail. UK parcels will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class.
Will I have to pay customs on parcels to the EU?
If your original order was less than 150 Euros, you will not need charged any customs fees, as we are registered with the IOSS scheme.
Do I need to be in when my parcel is delivered?
Curate Crochet Box will be delivered in a small parcel sized box, and will be too big to go through your letterbox. So you will need to take delivery of it as you would other parcels, but it will not require a signature.
Login to your customer account
You can access your customer portal through your store account login. If you have not registered an account, you will need to create an account using the same email address used at checkout.
Once your account is registered, you can log in and access your customer portal by clicking on the Manage Subscriptions link.
You can also access your account using a customer portal magic link. This magic link is typically sent in the Subscription Confirmation email when you begin a subscription.
Use passwordless login
Quickly access your customer portal with no password required using a 4-digit code sent by email. Follow the steps below to sign with your 4-digit code:
Step 1 - Request a passwordless login code
- Navigate to your Shopify account login page.
- Below Need help accessing your subscriptions? click on the Click here text.
- In the Login window, enter your email address associated with the subscription account.
- Click the Send login code button.
Step 2 - Check your email or text message
A 4-digit authentication code is sent to your email. This code is valid for four minutes. If the code is not confirmed within that time frame, you must complete Step 1 again to send a new login code.
Step 3 - Enter the 4-digit code into the passwordless login screen
- In your browser, return to the login screen.
- Type in the code you received by email.
- When successfully logged in, the screen is redirected to your customer portal.
If you did not receive your 4-digit code via email, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Check your email spam folder.
- Try refreshing the passwordless login page and re-enter your email address to receive a new code.
- If you have exceeded five failed login attempts, refresh your web browser to help reset the login attempts. This requires you to re-enter your email address and obtain a new 4-digit code to try again.
Skip a subscription
To skip your subscription:
- Login to your customer portal.
- Click the Manage subscriptions tab.
- Under the subscription you want to skip, select Manage this subscription. You can also access this page by selecting the subscription product within an order.
- Select Skip.
- Confirm by clicking Yes, skip from this order.
Pause a subscription
To pause your subscription:
- Login to your customer portal.
- Click the Manage subscriptions tab.
- Under the subscription you want to pause, select Manage this subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription and the pause a subscription options will display. Select how long you want to pause your subscription for and click Pause subscription.
Cancel a subscription
To cancel your subscription:
- Login to your customer portal.
- Click the Manage subscriptions tab.
- Under the subscription you want to cancel, select Manage this subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription, then Cancel subscription again.
- Provide a cancellation reason and click Next, then confirm the cancellation by selecting Cancel subscription.
When I signed up I was one of your first subscribers, and I received a lifetime discount. If I skip, pause or cancel, will I be able to sign up again for the same price?
If you pause or skip your boxes, your subscription terms will remain the same.
If you cancel and then want to re-subscribe at a later date, your subscription will be a new one and I unfortunately can't guarantee that you will receive the same discount.
