July's beautifully curated crochet box is here! Here's what you'll be unboxing in a few short weeks. Ready to crochet together on a lazy summer's afternoon? The kit we'll be making this month is...

Cottagecore Crochet Kitchen Set

But what IS cottagecore Lindsey?! You may well ask... cottagecore is about embracing the charm of the English countryside, rural idylls and dreamy cottage life. Think sourdough starters, sleepy farmhouses, traditional materials and, quite probably, frills. It's also a lovely way to escape our modern lives and romanticise timeless simplicities. And I'm here for it!

So here's my interpretation...

A gingham trivet, striped and scalloped cloth, and 3 reusable bowl covers, with frills. Ohhhh yes!

It won't look out of place in your modern home, but will give you a little slice of the English countryside to enjoy when you're crocheting and then using this set. And frankly, anything that makes washing up more enjoyable is well worth making. You'll have enough yarn in your Curate Crochet Box to make all three of the projects.

What crochet goodness will I be unpacking this month?!

Included in July's Curate Crochet Box is:

  • Our signature black and gold crochet hook

  • 4 x 50g balls of cotton yarn

  • A reel of shirring elastic

  • A cotton quilted trivet pad

  • 2 x handmade stitch markers

  • Yarn needle

  • A 8-page printed pattern booklet with step by step pictures

  • A 45 minute tutorial video walking you through the pattern

  • Plus any other accessories you'll need to make the projects!

Tell me more about the projects - are they suitable for me?

Yes! Each box comes with a 8-page printed pattern booklet, step-by-step photos and exclusive video tutorial, typically 45 minutes long. So no matter where you are on your crochet journey, you'll find everything you need to help you make up this month's box.

For the cottagecore kitchen set, we'll be using tapestry crochet to create the trivet, working in the round for the bowl covers, and working in rows for the cloth. And I'll walk you though each skill and technique in turn.

Hi, I have had 3 of these boxes now and I think they are excellent value for money and I’ve done all three items. Roll on my box number 4
