Life's a Picnic hook roll
Inspired by lazy summer picnics and heirloom fruits, our project this month uses soft cotton yarn in heritage colours.
We'll be learning the herringbone crochet stitch, a gorgeous textured stitch, and tapestry crochet in two colours to create the Life's a Picnic hook roll! Enjoy a slice of summer with this pretty and useful project!
Featuring 9 internal pockets to keep your hooks and accessories in, the hook roll can be rolled up and tied with the ric rac provided to keep everything neat and tidy. Pop it in your craft basket, or take it with you on holiday for easy access to your WIP tools...
August's box comes with everything you need - from the ric rac ribbon and crochet hook, to the yarn and needle. Plus, this month we've included a few summery treats just for you!

I've never done tapestry crochet before, is this project for me?
Absolutely! Every one of our box comes with a 8-page printed pattern booklet, step-by-step photos and an exclusive video tutorial, typically 45-60 minutes long.So no matter where you are on your crochet journey, you'll find everything you need to help you make up this month's box. I'll walk you though each skill and technique in turn in the video, so that we make along together.
Am I tied into a subscription?
No! Curate Crochet Box is designed to be super flexible. All our projects are revealed each month before your renewal date, so you can skip a box if it's not your cup of tea, or if you are busy that month. Or you can cancel anytime if you need to - all from your own account.
How do I get this box?
If you are already one of our subscribers, you don't need to do anything! The box will be posted to your door with everything you need to make it. If you'd like to join, make sure you sign up before 5th August, when orders will close on this box. We'll then make up your orders, and boxes will then be shipped around the 15th August.
