Lazy summer days are upon us and we're ready to slow down, sip a cold drink and crochet a calming boho inspired project this August...

Introducing... the Ibiza Sunset box

Join us in August to make the Ibiza Sunset baskets! We'll be creating two hanging baskets, perfect for plants or yarn supplies, and learning a new technique at the same time.

Our Ibiza baskets are a beginner introduction to Mosaic Crochet, a fabulous technique that uses just one colour yarn per round, but overlays to create intricate and detailed-looking patterns that are surprisingly easy!

Everything you need to make August's project will be included in the box, from the yarns to the yarn needle, boho beads to brass hardware.

The yarns in the Ibiza Sunset box are Aran weight, with one solid colour and a second variegated yarn - Stylecraft Savannah - which provides further depth with gently undulating colour.

What will be in my box of goodies?!

Our boxes come with everything you need to make the project, plus a 45-60 minute video workshop where I will make along with you. So no matter where you are on your crochet journey or skill level, I've got you!
Included in August's box is...
  • A 16-page mini magazine, including the printed pattern booklet with step-by-step pictures
  • A 45-60 minute tutorial video walking you through the pattern
  • A signature black and gold crochet hook
  • 1 x ball of cotton yarn
  • 1 x ball of cotton variegated yarn
  • Wooden geo beads
  • Brass hardware
  • A chakra crystal stitch marker
  • Yarn needle
  • Plus any other accessories you'll need to make the project...!

What you'll learn

In August's box we'll be learning overlay Mosaic Crochet together. Not used this technique before? No problem, we'll be taking it step by step in a beginner's approach together. We will learn:

  • The basics of Mosaic Crochet and how to build our pattern using just one colour yarn each round
  • How to read a Mosaic Crochet chart - this won't be essential for our pattern as I'll take you through it stitch by stitch, but it means you'll have the skills to take on more mosaic crochet projects in the future!

You'll learn all the techniques needed to create the Ibiza Sunset baskets using our step-by-step pattern with pictures, and there's also a 45-60 minute video to accompany it if you are more of a visual learner.

I've never made anything like this before, is this project for me?

Absolutely! Every one of our boxes comes with a 16-page printed pattern booklet, step-by-step photos and an exclusive video tutorial, typically 45-60 minutes long.

So no matter where you are on your crochet journey, you'll find everything you need to help you make up this month's box.

I'll walk you through each skill and technique in turn in the video, so that we make along together.

Am I tied into a subscription?

Nope! Curate Crochet Box is designed to be super flexible. All our projects are revealed each month before your renewal date, so you can skip a box if it's not your cup of tea, or if you are busy that month. Or you can cancel anytime if you need to - all from your own account.

How do I join Curate Crochet Box?

If you are already one of our subscribers, you don't need to do anything! The box will be posted to your door with everything you need to make it. If you'd like to join, make sure you sign up before 7th August, when orders will close on this box.

Or, if you are looking for a present for the yarn-lover in your life (or yourself, we're not here to judge) you can purchase a 1, 3, 6 or 12 month gift subscription too...
